There are moments when you know exactly why you chose this profession. One of these moments was when we were allowed to play for little Felix from Düsseldorf in the hospital.
The little boy is a hemophiliac and has had to undergo a lot of operations. When he is in the hospital again and is not feeling well, we receive a call from his mother, Joanna. Felix loves “Despacito” and Joanna is looking for a band to play the song for him and cheer him up. We are immediately enthusiastic and drive to the hospital shortly afterwards.
We can tell you, we were rarely as excited as when we were able to surprise the little man. When Felix was happy too, we were very touched.
