Jason Mraz ist ein Künstler, der schon immer irgendwie zu uns Beiden gesprochen hat. Es gibt kaum einen Auftritt von uns ohne seinen Song ‚I’m Yours‘, aber auch ‚Lucky‘ oder ‚Love Someone‘ haben wir immer gerne gespielt. (We recorded the latter for a road trip video)
Aber ein Song hat einen ganz besonderen Platz in unserem Herzen und das ist ‚I Won’t Give Up‘. Irgendwie erzeugt er eine Emotion, die ich mal ‚positiv-resiliente Melancholie‘ nennen würde. Die Message von ‚Ich werde nicht aufgeben‘ ist auf eine so sanfte Art und Weise verpackt, dass es viel tiefer geht als jede laut geschwungene Motivationsrede.
That's why it was always clear that we had to record this song. Looking back, we took our time with it, but we're all the happier with the result. But see for yourself:
