The horse mashup

You know, we love love love mashups! There are simply too many good songs written to play them all at some point. In order to get as many songs as possible into our limited stage time, we have started to merge several songs into a new complete work. This is also the case with our latest decade-spanning incarnation of pop music: The PONY / OLD TOWN ROAD MASHUP.

PONY by Ginuwine had been on our wish list for a long time anyway and after Phil Phader played the song at the after-show party of our concert in March (By the way, with a KILLER transition – look at THAT!) und ihn uns somit wieder kurz hinter die vordere Hirnwand katapultiert hat, konnten wir gar nicht anders als ihn endlich ins Repertoire aufnehmen. Und welcher Song hätte sich da besser zu ‚Mashupen‘ eignen können als der (mehr oder weniger) aktuelle Festival-Hit OLD TOWN ROAD?

And last but not least, a little fun fact: This video shoot for PONY / OLD TOWN ROAD was the first one in which our first female dog KARMA She communicated her excitement to us mainly through long intestinal gases that lingered in the air…
